Post subject:  Don't check for duplicate posts.
i had to re-do my post i don't want duplicate checking. how do i do that? do i need to delete a file or something? oh multi-pages

You can:

  • Delete the messages (otherwise you will have duplicates in the program).
  • When using "Multi-Pages" tab there is option to "Don't check for duplicates" (you will have duplicates in that case).
  • When using "Topics" tab there is option to "Don't check for duplicates" (you will have duplicates in that case).
  • For RSS feeds there is the same option in "Settings" -> "RSS".

im using 2.37... let me guess its not in my version. i deleted user meesages file in the program and the backup and it still skipped messages

The options are in the latest version: 4.21 at the moment (always update to the latest version, it has all the fixes, improvements and new features).

For deletion you just need to delete the messages from the program (don't restore them at all). You get duplicate error because they are already in the program. They must be deleted if you don't want to get that error.

Or just use the options (but you will get duplicates in the program then).

i deleted the messages... i had to restart the program. i dont want to upgrade. that nag screen mess is terrible. im going to start just wiping it clean then no dupe checking

i deleted the post and deleted the backups. where is it getting the info to skip??????? i want it gone! please ok i restarted it still skipped a couple. im sending over a close friend to get the leecher. i think im going to upgrade not sure yet. thank you kindly sir :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

Select the status and press on "Preview skipped reasons" (the eye button).

There are tons of reasons why it might have skipped (like unwanted / wanted words, unwanted / wanted hosts, etc.).

In that case change your setup based on skipped reasons if you don't want to skip them.

Also it's old version (more than 3 years old) with tons of bugs, please always update to the latest version.

some have same title but different url. cheating wife is a popular title all different stories though.

You will need to use "Multi-pages" leeching then and just enable option there to "Don't check for duplicates" (in the latest version).
